4.00-6” Flat-Free Tire for Residential Wheelbarrows This tire and wheel assembly is the perfect replacement for wheelbarrows with 4.00” x 6” tire sizes. The most common types of wheelbarrows that utilize these tire sizes are 4 cubic feet wheelbarrows and regular residential wheelbarrows.

Adjustable Adapter Kits This flat-free wheelbarrow tire comes pre-assembled with a 1.75” centered hub and 5/8” bearings. The adapter kit includes two 3/4” bearings, two 0.5” wide nylon spacers, and two 1.57” wide nylon spacers. Please choose the suitable bearings or spacers to fit your tires when replacing.

Installation Instructions 1. Remove the old tire from the wheelbarrow by removing one or both of the axle brackets first. 2. Measure the hub length of the old wheel and calculate the length of spacers that will be needed. 3. Measure the diameter of the existing axle. If the axle is too big, check the enclosed 3/4" bearings. 4. If the 3/4" bearings fit, remove the 5/8" bearings with the help of a screwdriver or other tools. 5. Insert the new suitable bearings and install the new tire onto the wheelbarrow. 6. Install the axle through the hub, add spacers if necessary, and finally install it into the axle brackets.

Please check the diameter, width, hub length, and bearing size before replacement. 5/8” bearings are installed on the wheel; if not suitable, you may change them for 3/4” bearings which come in the kits.

In addition to all the above, our wheelbarrow replacement tires are flat-free and made of solid polyurethane foam with ribbed treads. These tires provide maximum traction and maneuverability in rough and uneven terrain, both in wet and dry conditions. Lastly, please ensure that you do not overload the tires.
